At the weekend I was lucky enough to go and see 'Savage Beauty', the largest retrospective of Alexander McQueen's work to be presented in Europe. Even if you aren't a fashion buff the exhibition is mesmerising and the genius of his talent is there for all to see.

The insight into Kate Moss's Pepper ghost appearance in the finale of his 'The widows of Culloden' AW 2006 collection shows that it was the spectacle and theatre of fashion ,and not just the clothes, he was interested in. I've seen a fair few in my time but the space, creativity and wow factor of this exhibition definitely puts it at the top of my list and whilst advance tickets are now sold out tickets are still available to buy on the day of a visit.

I wore my H&M blue cotton shirt, Zara soft ripped skinny jeans, old Accessorize tan leather belt, my new Matt Bernson KM gladiator sandals in Bourbon, Anya Hindmarch Maxi zip bag along with my Mango beige flowing trenchcoat.

This particular one and a similar one from Zara have now both sold out so I've shown a light beige version, which is a new arrival, from H&M in my outfit builder below. If you want it get it quick as this particular, soft to the touch, drapey style of trench is so versatile. Don't say I didn't warn you! To shop click on the descriptive text below.

Thanks for stopping by.
