Mix and match

Don't be afraid to mix up your Autumn colour palette. What usually makes an outfit more interesting is being confident with your combinations, like here where I've worn dark brown boots with black jeans. It can look more relaxed and effortless rather than too try hard.

I've been wearing my H&M flannel shirt a lot and find it perfect for this time of year where it's nippy one minute and sunny and warm the next. My Zara military gilet jacket has also come in very handy and as I got it in the summer sale more than earned its keep. If you don't yet own one and tend to overheat in a full on coat then I'd recommend buying one.

My burgundy Coccinelle bag was another great sale purchase. It updates my autumn outfits, is hands free and just the right size for essentials if I pop into town after school drop off. Whilst I can't find my exact bag online anymore see a similar bag from their latest collection in my outfit builder below.

My black jeans are Notify from TK Maxx but I've found these J.Brand pair available now and at £59.99 are great value with various sizes available so buy now! I haven't yet done olive nails but hope to buy this Nails.inc shade over the weekend so watch this space.

Shop the look by clicking on the descriptive text below, have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by.
