I went to see LA LA Land with some girlfriends yesterday anticipating that it would have some Golden Globes in the bag by the morning; and if Ryan Gosling on a Sunday afternoon wasn't enough to put a smile on my face, I have just watched his Best Actor acceptance speech!

I'm not sure which moved me more, spoiler alert, the films ending, or his heartfelt and honest appreciation of all that his 'sweetheart', Eva Mendes, did whilst he was making the movie. It's refreshing to know that even with an A lister lifestyle the reality of parenting, caring for relatives and keeping house while your partner is away working is worthy of an Oscar too.

So whilst we'll have to wait to see if Ryan gets the coveted Academy Award in February he has already got my vote for best hubby for such a public thank you. So for a little sprinkle of LA LA Land in your life I highly recommend watching both the film and his touching tribute to Eva!

Back to todays outfit and today I'm wearing a Zara navy wool coat, old, Uniqlo V neck grey cashmere jumper, old, Zara burgundy coated skinny trousers, old, Adidas Leopard Stan Smiths, old, pattern scarf, old which pulls all the other block colours together, as it has greys, blues and burgundy in it too.

The Leopard print of the shoes adds interest and keeps it looking fresher as the shape of the coat is quite formal. I still get comments about my Stan Smiths and keep trying to find an adequate alternative, but to no avail. If you've found a great Leopard Pony print trainer or flat do get in touch!

I've picked a NEW in shoe from Adidas for the outfit builder, the Haven. It has a shiny mesh top with suede panels and a retro 70's feel which is why I tend to prefer the Originals range from Adidas. I've also added a lace trim cami which I forgot to wear underneath my V neck jumper, to soften up the neckline.

Click on the links if you'd like to shop a similar look. Also I'll be using Instagram more so you can save the outfit builder on your phone, if thats easier, and thanks for stopping by.
