We've had Sports day at school today and so, as I've got children in both keystages, I've had a marathon of events to watch over! If it wasn't so hot today I'd have worn my Stan Smith trainers but decided to wear my astro turf friendly Matt Bernson KM gladiator sandals instead.

If you read my posts regularly you'll have noticed how much I've been wearing them and I wondered if I should buy a pair in black too. If you go to the official website there's a celebrity feature page where the likes of the gorgeous Margot Robbie, see below, is seen wearing their choice of Matt Bernson footwear.

I also noticed the Heron black leather sandal, which I've chosen for my outfit builder today, but it doesn't have the metal stud toe detailing which I love on the KM gladiator style, see below right.

Decisions,decisions.....

Anyway the rest of my outfit consists of a Cloth & Stone Bobbi shirt, with split back detail, see actual shirt below available at Anthropologie, worn over a Next tank t-shirt, old, Zara biker trousers, old, Sophie Anderson woven bucket bag, last SS season, and Gucci sunglasses, last SS season too.

I was exhausted just watching my offspring charging about and I'm glad to now be sitting down with a glass of wine......medicinal of course, after all that cheering I'm a little hoarse!

Last week I posted about my sale purchases from Massimo Dutti. Today I'm wearing the ivory blazer that replaces my old Zara cotton blazer. I've worn it with basics, M&S viscose grey marl tank top, old, Clavin Klein jeans boyfriend jeans, old and Matt Bernson tan KM gladiator sandals, last season.

My cats eye sunglasses are Chloe, old, and to add interest and a pop of colour I've added a neon pink 100% polyester scarf by Pink Butterfly. which I bought from TK max years ago and is probably my most worn scarf from my collection!

Of course you could add a tie neck silk scarf to be more on trend, see images below for ideas on how to wear them, and I've chosen two Moschino silk scarves, currently available at TK Maxx for £39.99, they originally retailed at £89.

Whilst I don't usually post about politics I cannot gloss over how important today's EU referendum outcome will be in shaping the future of our country.

I think the chasm between Remain and Leave voters comes down to the exhaustive facts that seem almost indigestible and the trust issues we harbour against politicians, irrespective of their party beliefs. The well rehearsed statistics hammered out seem to fall short of the whole picture; leaving us to feel akin to facing a GSCE maths exam, that you've adequately revised for, to then face a paper from a Biomedical degree!

We just don't know enough to get the grade we need....

Call me shallow too but as Inditex SA, the umbrella company for my favourite brands Zara, Massimo Dutti, Uterque and Pull & Bear amongst others, is Spanish based if we do vote to leave we may suddenly find retail prices spike, until new trade negotiations are bashed out. Even Pablo Isla, Chief Executive of Inditex, urged us to vote Remain. See quote below from an article on advfn.com

"While respecting the decision of the people in the U.K., we believe that a Europe without the U.K. would be weaker just as the U.K. itself would be weaker outside Europe," said Inditex Chief Executive Pablo Isla, citing an open letter he signed along with representatives from over 50 European companies.

So forget the sales I feel an AW16 shopping splurge coming on. Better go as I've only got until 22.00pm tonight until voting closes and we'll wake up tomorrow morning knowing for certain if we're IN or OUT.

Click on the links to shop, be sure to use your vote and thanks for stopping by.
