Here I am wearing a simple black outfit of Massimo Dutti crinkle culottes, last year, and H&M Silk vest top, old. I always find I feel more presentable when I elevate basic styles with premium fabrics.
Culottes are still on trend this SS and these casual bottoms are airy and light enough for when the temperature soars.
To add a pop of colour and interest I teamed the look with my woven Sophie Anderson bag; her new collection of striped wicker bags is a contemporary, fun twist on the basic straw basket, which I've chosen to feature in todays outfit builder, below.
Obviously I don't do the school run with a bikini underneath my ensemble but it is sunbathing weather and as I've kept to a neutral, black and gold colour palette I thought I'd showcase the latest range from Rosie Huntington Whiteley for M&S, Swimwear, left.
M&S may as well hand over the womenswear helm to this talented lady, model and mum to be. Or she should set up her own eponymous brand!! I imagine the sales will look just as good as she does here in the marketing campaign. Me, jealous? Er... yep!!
