So what do you do to dispel the Blue Monday blues? Yep look forward to your Summer vacation by buying a blue bikini. Well that's what I've done!
I know I said in a previous Sale post not to buy anything you don't need but I've been trying to find a particular shade of blue bikini or swimsuit for a while now and whilst I was perusing the J.Crew sale offer came across the perfect shade of swimwear.
The specific shade falls somewhere between Azure, Colbalt, Persian and a Pure Blue. On further research it is probably an International Klein Blue, a hue first mixed by renowned French artist Yves Klein. All I know is it's a shade that is flattering to both paler and tanned skins and has an air of sophistication about, not a trend colour but a more mature alternative to turquoise.
Thankfully I don't have to don it just yet as my body isn't quite beach ready. However the J.Crew sale is definitely worth a visit. I noticed their signature Regent blazer in linen was reduced so plumped for that too.
