Our favourite Swedish high street store has recently launched Morris & Co x H&M; taking the best patterns from this iconic British Wallpaper and Fabric brand, founded by William Morris, and translating them into this seasons must haves.

I popped into my local branch last week, which doesn't normally carry the collaboration ranges, and discovered to my delight a few of the key pieces from the range. I'm not normally a 'pattern' person but did bag this maxi dress for £34.99, which is now sold out.

I'm going to an Autumn wedding soon and wasn't sure of what to wear, but this will be perfect. Whilst it's styled with slouchy boots on the model below I'll probably team it with a pair of block heeled leather knee high boots, similar here at Zara, or my heeled burgundy sock boots from Zara, similar here from Steve Madden.

For a less formal occasion I'll layer the dress under my cream cable knit sweater from Massimo Dutti; or for the office you could pop a rollneck jumper underneath, picking out the mustard or berry shades.

Whilst most of my favourite items are already sold out, like the silk scarf and pleated skirt, there are still new arrivals online so purchase soon if you want some pattern to update your Autumn wardrobe.

It's tricky knowing what to wear when the morning is chilly and the afternoon is warm and sunny; which means it must be time to layer. Here I'm wearing a new purchase from Massimo Dutti, a grey, hooded knit sweater ; which has sweatshirt shaping and is short enough to show off any layers underneath.

My tailored trench is old from Zara, along with a Massimo Dutti ivory silk shirt and Lee distressed hem skinny jeans. Obviously animal print, especially Leopard, is on trend at the moment, so my old Adidas Originals give this outfit a fashion nod. The Zara Leopard print jeans are great in a neutral khaki and can replace your basic plain jean to give you a new season wardrobe update. My cross body bag is from Coccinelle, again old.  

My outfit builder creates a similar look from items currently available; but as the trench I've chosen already has a hood I've swapped out my new purchase for another fab knit from Massimo Dutti, a maroon sweater with cable knit sleeves. However I've included my new knit below, as I think it's great substitute for a plain sweatshirt. So when the weather warms up you can strip down to a cool silk shirt and shoulder robe your trench!

It's been a while since my last post and we are now in October which means it's jumper season (Hurrah!). The chilly mornings definitely require something cosy, although by the afternoon I'm stripping down to a T-shirt, given the recent warm spells we've been having.

Today I'm wearing my latest purchase from Massimo Dutti, a cotton blend open knit sweater in 'washed', see above, which is an off white. The tone on tone, winter white, outfit is a great combination for this time of year when you don't want to go too dark but still need to layer up.
