Jog on!

Well done to all those that ran in the London Marathon on Sunday, truly inspirational, and I loved the story of Helen Clarke who got her very own start after missing a friend who was in a different wave of runners!

No jogging here although I've gone for a more relaxed, sporty look this morning with white the only thing running through this outfit. I'm wearing my old Zara sheer shoulder panel knit as sheer and mesh detailing remains on trend for SS 15. Styles seen at the Chloe show have inspired the high street and if you want more inspiration see this report from Sheerluxe.com.

I'm wearing my Zara nude strappy vest underneath which gives an extra layer and smooths underwear bumps. A style tip is to always wear nude under white as it's less obvious than colours or white and that goes for underwear too. Unless you want to flash undies on purpose of course!

I've got on my Next khaki jacket, slate grey jogging trousers, khaki and orange leopard print scarf and white leather tote all old from TK Maxx.
I've added an Anya Hindmarch tassel to give my bag interest and love the pop of orange!

I bought my tassel in Bicester village so it was discounted but you don't have to spend a fortune to give plain bags an update; I've chosen a bright orange leather keyring from Jigsaw for my outfit builder. Click on the descriptive text to shop. My Adidas mi stan smith trainers finish of my look today so I might just jog to school for pick up!

Thanks for stopping by.

Spring skirt look

Those that read my blog regularly will know my 'uniform' is usually based around a skinny jean. My mission for summer is to wear more skirts and I think I may have found a style I can adopt inspired by the Michael Kors SS15 ready-to-wear show, which we saw in September of last year.

Looking through the show slides there probably isn't a look that I wouldn't wear so I've put an outfit builder together to show how to achieve a similar look from the high street.

Click on the descriptive text to start shopping and watch this space to see if I manage to wear more skirt looks in the future.

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm working on a new fashion feature for this blog which will focus on what the high street stores have to offer for SS15. Today I went to the floundering British fashion stalwart M&S and looked at the Limited Edition offering.

Look out for my critique next week which will highlight my hits-must buy now and trend update pieces and the misses-sale rail items!

Obviously I sauntered around the rest of the store and stopped to look at the latest range of Rosie for Autograph nightwear as I've bought quite a few pieces in the past.

However that's when I caught sight of this pretty cool cotton nightdress - I'm a sucker for a bit of pink neon! It made me think of balmy summer nights in Greece, which just so happens to be where we're off to this year, and the thoughtful back lace detailing clinched the deal. Click here for details.

See below for my casual shopping outfit, most of which you'll have seen before, and click on the descriptive text to shop. Thanks for stopping by.
