Sweat building blocks

Today I'm full of a cold and not feeling on top form so sought comfort in my sweat building blocks of sweatshirt and joggers!

My Hush 'Lucky' grey marl sweatshirt and Topshop Neppy Marl joggers are both old and I've teamed them here with my Reiss Leather collarless jacket and Mi Stan Smith white leather sneakers for an easy off duty look.

The Hush Spring catalogue dropped through the post a few days ago and I love this sweatshirt and denim skirt combo for Spring; the denim skirt predicted to be a key item for the warmer months to come.

Left: Hush 'Love' Sweat top £49 and Denim pencil skirt £45, click on the links to shop.

However I've added some colour to my outfit builder below, with a Zara Embroidered sweatshirt, and used the  various shades of the embellishment to match back to the accessories.

Zara's basic sneaker, which isn't leather, but looks just as good, has a blue contrast heel pad which pulls through the sequin detail, as does the green of the Bucket bag and red of my favourite one coat Nails Inc nail polish!

The Leather jacket is New in at Mango and at just under £120 is great value for money, bringing todays total look to £398.95! If you'd like outfit builders for work or occasion wear, or if you have an item you'd like me to build an outfit around do get in touch and I may include your ideas in upcoming posts.

I hope you had a good half term and welcome back to mumsweardaily.com after a short break.

This is an outfit from the weekend as I wanted to show the layering of my H&M flannel shirt and Uniqlo breton top, with a khaki military jacket, old from Zara.

As it was milder I plumped for the shirt over, rather than under a top, and as the Khaki jacket is sleeveless it showcased the turned up cuffs; a simple styling tip.

I also like having the pale blue collar of the shirt popped up near to my face as lighter shades are more flattering for mature skin, however you can't see it here because of my cosy cashmere Zara scarf!

Over the weekend I also came across this Banana Republic Full sleeve military Jacket £85, but all sizes have sold out unless you're a XXS! If it's been popular they may do another run...we'll have to wait and see.

You can only get the range online as unfortunately in December 2016 Banana Republic stores closed in the UK, due to poor performance, maybe if they'd done more reworked updates like this they may have had better sales results!

Anyway Zara have done a similar style, with an embroidered trim detail to boot, which I've included in my outfit builder below, but get it quick before this style is a sell out too!

If you like todays look click on the links to shop and thanks for stopping by.

Today I'm wearing my Neutral Adidas Original Hamburg sneakers for the first time. I bought them a while ago, when I got the Craft Chili Red pair which I've worn a lot as they add a pop of colour to any outfit.

As it's been so wet I haven't dared wear this light neutral pair but as I've been trying to be frugal felt the urge to crack open the shoe box for some newness in my wardrobe!

I love the two tone combination and the soft gold foil detail and they're now reduced to £52.46, click here. Although they are chalk and pearl grey I've seen a lot of nude and neutral coloured sneakers in the SS collections and so I've put together my top 6 favourite below.

Click on the links to shop, thanks for stopping by and enjoy the half term break.
