It's half term and my week day outfit inspiration will start again next Monday. In the meantime I thought I'd take a look back over the outfits I have worn since this blogs launch on the 7th of January and do a bit of number crunching.

I've posted on 28 days so equivalent to 4 weeks worth of outfits and I haven't yet repeated a total look, although of course I've worn elements again and again. Today I'll look at my footwear.

Okay so I've also worn 10 items of footwear. (Yesterday I found I'd worn 10 items of outerwear too.)
The most worn have been my tan Barbarin Uggs and Uterque Black leather buckle boot. The one shown, top left, is a similar style in patent from Very by Fearne collection. Obviously that's been weather driven. If I had a driver no doubt I would have been in my heels in sub zero temperatures too as seen at NYFW!

The two least worn are my diamante black Zara heels as I've only been to one cocktail dressing event, well it is only February! and the Office grey suede over the knee boot which I wore for a 'date' night. As my posts are usually weekday/term time this comes as no surprise.

So for AW footwear I would say my essential mumswear must haves would be a flat black leather boot, Uggs or comfort boot, a pair of wellingtons, a flat knee high boot and trainers. If you're wearing trainers for daywear rather than just the gym my current favourites are suede Adidas Gazelles OG, in a burgundy, grey or navy. Maybe I need just one more pair of shoes.........watch this space.

Tomorrow I'll look at bottoms.....and that's the jean,trouser,skirt kind!
