1/2 term number crunch

It's half term and my week day outfit inspiration will start again next Monday. In the meantime I thought I'd take a look back over the outfits I have worn since this blogs launch on the 7th of January and do a bit of number crunching.

I've posted on 28 days so equivalent to 4 weeks worth of outfits and I haven't yet repeated a total look, although of course I've worn elements again and again. Today I'll look at my outerwear.

Below I've shown the 10 items from my outfit builder so they are similar to what I have in my wardrobe rather than the real thing. You may notice the duplication of long chocolate quilted coats, however I own a short one without a hood and a longer one with a faux fur trim hood. Also shown are 2 khaki parkas. My F&F one is very lightweight with 3/4 length sleeves whereas my M&S cotton parka is much heavier with full length sleeves.

It may seem excessive to have 10 coats but in my defence they have been accumulated over the last 7 years. So for AW outerwear I would say my essential mumswear must haves would be a hooded raincoat, a smart wool coat, a leather jacket, a hooded quilted coat and a hooded cotton parka.

Tomorrow I'll analyse my footwear!
