I love the ice blue shade of this fluid trench from Miss Selfridge.
The flowy trench coat or duster coat is the perfect outerwear piece for the Spring. I'm still wearing my Mango flowy trench from last year, click for more from Mango here, but there's a crop of coats to choose from on the high street this season so see my top five picks below. I love the ice blue shade of this fluid trench from Miss Selfridge. This Pepe Jeans mac is a similar beige tone to my Mango coat and is a great neutral. Turn back the sleeves to soften an off duty look. The pale Apricot shade of this coat from H&M lends itself to occasion dressing if you're not sure what the weather forecast has in store! Be a modern red riding hood in this new take on a caped jacket from River Island. It's definitely a statement trench! Let your co-workers be green with envy in this striking duster coat from Karen Millen. Click on the descriptive text to shop and thanks for stopping by.

Before it teamed it down with rain I was wearing my cargo waistcoat over a flannel check shirt, layered over a white t-shirt, and boyfriend jeans. My cargo waistcoat was from Zara last year in the sale and is great when, like yesterday, it feels warm in the sun but you need a bit more cover. It's been a very useful addition to my outerwear wardrobe as you can see from previous posts! As the Zara one was out of stock the nearest khaki sleeveless jacket I could find was from River Island and I'm pleased to say that they still have one in their range, but it's now under their Limited Edition offer. I did go into my nearest River Island the other day to check out their footwear range, after reading Fashion mum of 40 blog post about their Gianvito Rossi inspired suede wrap block heel shoe. Click here for River Island's suede wrap block heel shoe at £60 if they've still got your size. Unfortunately they've sold out of size 5 online and I thought they might have them in store but no such luck. Whilst I was in there I saw some lovely khaki cargo pants, with a softer more relaxed shape. I'd lose the belt and would turn up the hem to team with a heel for date night. Or they would look great with the wrap suede block heel too.......They are already low on stock so I would buy them now before they're a sell out too! They also reminded me of a recent article from Sheerluxe.com on how to make your cargo trousers look more feminine. Click on the link for more inspiration. River Island seems to be ticking a lot of fashion boxes lately and is definitely the high street store to watch this season, so watch out Next! Click on the links to shop and have a great weekend. Good luck to all those running in the Brighton marathon too! Thanks for stopping by. Just a quick post today and I've teamed my cropped boucle tweed jacket, which is old from TK Maxx, with a Uniqlo breton stripe top and MiH kick flare dark denim jeans, again old from TK Maxx. The kick flare cropped jean is great for Spring and is still a key jeans style for this season. See more ways to style them here at Who What Wear. The kick flare jeans I've chosen for todays outfit builder are from J.Crew but you can get similar styles from Topshop and Banana Republic. I've worn black ballet pumps here to pick out the black in the tweed but I've softened the look for my outfit builder below with a pair of Champagne coloured flats, both from Massimo Dutti. I love the red Pom Pom bag from Zara which adds a pop of colour and is cross body, which is the most practical style on the school run and if you wanted to elevate this look for evening then just add a pair of heels like these Galaxy spot mesh court shoes, left, £69 from Topshop.
